How do people with anxiety calm their energy?
Remember everything is energy and anxiety is an energy, it's an energy-in-motion. A lot of time, it's an over-energized energy-in-motion.
Let's think it's an excess of energy which can also show up as an excess of thinking and excessive agitation in the body and excess of worry - anxiety.
We want bring that back in and give it an opportunity to release the excess. We can do that with one of my favorite exercises of all time, the Central Vessel Release. We tap our lower belly; we pull it up; and we say, "I release the energy of this anxiety." Pull it up again, "I release the energy of this anxiety." Pull it up the 3rd time, and really flip it right off your lip, "I release the energy of this anxiety."
Now a few things have just happened.
More things happening:
Now, do what your doctor tells you: keep taking your meds.
if your therapist has you on a special kind of regime and way to think: do that!
Do all of those things AND do the energy because Everything is Energy! All of those other things you're doing are an energetic response to your experience as well.
We find that when people add energy to whatever protocol they're using, whether it's Western Medical Model or another protocol that's already in place, energy seems to enhance the results, and it seems to enhance the positive results.
Don't stop what you're already doing. Continue on with your current protocol and add energy to it.
Remember, it's an e x c e s s of energy.
Using the Central Vessel Release again, you can say, "I release this excess energy. Right now I release this excess energy from my body that feels like anxiety."
It will work! It will move that excess energy for you right out of your body.
